Diagnostic Scans

Scans at Revival Lifecare are performed and reported in-house at Building 551, 14th Main Road, 7th Sector, HSR Layout — by our own radiologist, not an outside reporting service. That is why reports here usually come back the same day, and why an unexpected finding can be discussed with a consulting doctor in the same building rather than at a follow-up appointment the following week.

Preparation depends on the scan. An abdominal ultrasound generally needs six to eight hours of fasting, while pelvic, KUB and early pregnancy scans need a full bladder instead. X-rays need no preparation at all — you can walk in. Tell us which scan you are booking and we will confirm exactly what applies before you travel, so a visit is never wasted.

A referral is preferred so that the scan answers a specific clinical question, but it is not mandatory. If you do not have one, our consulting doctors can advise which scan is appropriate, and blood work from our in-house laboratory can be collected during the same visit.
